Connecting HRM withBkool /Garmin

Hi, Just got a Bkool Pro 2 and love it. Do some training using the App on my mobile phone and can't work out how to connect my Garmin heart rate monitor to the App. It picks up the Pro2 OK but not the HRM. My Garmin 910XT picks up the HRM so I know it works. I was under the impression they all talked together if they were bluetooth and ANT+ enabled.
I'm hoping some wise sage out there can advise me.

The Garmin HRM connects using ANT+ not Bluetooth. Your mobile phone probably only uses Bluetooth.

Apologies, but a quick check on google tells me that many Android phones use the ANT+ protocol as well as Bluetooth. What phone are you trying to connect the HR monitor to?

I use the BKool Pro (original) and a HRM with a laptop and everything connects fine using Ant+ ...... never used a phone but maybe the Ant+ protocol in the phone isn't compatible with the HRM?
