Consiston to Millom

Planning to do a round trip to Millom from Coniston and RWGPS wants to take me off the A591 just after Duddon Bridge rather than climb the hill, The low road looks to go down Lady Hall lane to the Green, then into Millom via Aggies Lonnin. Question I have is, is this rideable (I have been sent down dirt tracks before) I will be on a CX bike so can cope with some gravel (and I'd prefer that to the hill which I remember as narrow, fast moving traffic and low wall and big drop on the left) but don'rt really want to go mud plugging. Anyone know that area/route?

Edit - Having followed it about half way along, the last bit Aggies Lonnin isn;t covered and it does look a bit rough.
