Under the seat? I doubt they would want anything loose near the ejector seat mechanism.

I now have a vision of a seat that not only ejects but, while parachuting down, unfolds into a bike so that the pilot can land on both wheels and cycle back to the aerodrome.

Someone was telling me that in WWII, British paratroopers jumped into France with folding bikes. Sounds pretty cool (not the jumping into a war zone bit, but the military folding bike!)

The de Havilland museum at London Colney has a paratrooper bike, inside a paratrooper glider...
