Someone was telling me that in WWII, British paratroopers jumped into France with folding bikes. Sounds pretty cool (not the jumping into a war zone bit, but the military folding bike!)

The late Aged P said he saw them being used in training and thought he might have ridden one when deployed as infantry at Cassino but never did/saw a combat drop with one. But then his lot didn't do D-Day or Market Garden.
