Brompton bikes are now available on the John Lewis website. To be clear this is only online and as far as I know they won't be sold in store.

We all know that JL are in desperate straits at the moment and Brompton have just accepted a investment of £19m. So does this smack of desperation on both parts or a logical extension of Brompton sales?
I expect after sales will be handled by Brompton's existing dealer network, I wonder how they will feel about this move?
