I wasn't sure they would still be printing the Metro, the only ones we get at Hull are ones left on trains from further afield

They printed a double page message today saying that they intend to carry on publishing. Many of the staff are working from home but obviously somebody is still going in to print and distribute the papers.

<semi-serious answer:>
A) why would they be self-isolating? Are artists all sick/vulnerable? (maybe!)

You know what, I was gutted when that bridge was painted over* but that is an awesome replacement.

*Yeah, I know, graffiti is by its very nature ephemeral, that's part of its appeal, blah de blah

You don't see a certain irony in an artist going out to spread the message '#SELFISOLATE' or 'STAY HOME'...?

No, not really - how else is anyone going to put signs/artwork up with that message? No point in painting them on the inside of their house!

Anyway, this is off the main point - I think the graffiti is pretty cool!

I'm not . The " give peas a chance " was rubbish . Did it have a deep meaning that i'm to young to know about ?

I'm glad the 'other' key workers are getting a mention, I have no problem with the 8 o'clock Thursday ritual & yes the NHS are at the pointy end, but so are all the shop workers & many others.

Not really. It had just been there for a long time so sort of became a landmark.
