I might be killing my dog with kindness! I keep finding dog pee patches on my carpets, usually after giving him sliced ham. I think the cause could be me giving him too much ham which is full of salt and dodgy preservatives, which makes him thirsty, therefore he's drinking lots of water to quench his thirst and flush his kidneys out. I've noticed his water dish is almost empty after he's been fed ham. Obviously when he's drank lots of water he needs a pee. Am I right in thinking ham isn't good for him?
