Could giving my dog ham be causing his peeing problem?

Jesus, that's way too much. Six slices.... no wonder. Don't go doing that with plastic chicken either.

I wouldn't give him that plastic chicken stuff, as I've heard it's full of salt and flavouring to try and disguise the plastic affect as you eat it. The chicken I give him is again Tesco Finest.

Tesco wafer thin sliced chicken: 1.24g salt per 100g

Tesco finest sliced roast chicken: 0.54g salt per 100g

Only trouble is, if you're feeding a complete dog food, that will cover your dog's sodium needs. So by topping up with even "finest" chicken, you'll be giving him far more than is healthy.

Your best bet is to treat him to chicken you've cooked yourself *without* any seasoning (simple poaching will work) or things like carrots and sweet potatoes and green beans. My friend's schnauzers LOVE carrots.

Lovely, look at all the additives. Blimmin expensive compared to buying fresh breast or even bonless thigh. You could steam it.

Tesco are one of the worst for turning decent food into plastic food in there never ending search to buy stuff for the cheapest possible price. They try to bully suppliers / manufacturers into making stuff cheaper. I've seen major manufacturers delisted and taken off the shelf in an attempt bully them, only for them to come back with there tail between there legs. PS I worked for 2 manufacturers that they tried to bully.
