Easy peasy, I didn't even own a leather football till I was 13, I practiced with a tennis ball. My school team (1970's) coach played me as a left winger and I went from being right footed to two footed by the time I was 11. I coach juniors now and it's not often you see a two footed player today, most are hopelessly one footed and it is extremely irritating.
I often use a tennis ball to show/explain something and that always put them firmly in their place.

You can tell, by 8, which kids have the balance and touch to manipulate a football, it can be quite sad to see kids who want to be "Riquelme" when you know that are only going to be clog footed oafs................full backs.
