I'd opt to ride the lumpy scenic route through Gronnant and you can drop right down opposite where you work. Lumpy, but great training. Gronnant Road from near the Peugeot Dealer, through Gronnant, up the hill, track along, past near the fishery and you are outside work.

On the new bike that might actually be possible. I will give it a go with full panniers some time this week just to get an idea of how long it would take me.

those narrow points would put me on edge... especially if it's a HGV coming and putting a real squueze on should they try to pass.... the road does look quite open and fast for traffic, so just light up, bright up, and proceed with caution as the nights draw in.

Possibly, but if there are right hand turns that need to be taken it could prove a problem.

That's good if people don't park their bloody cars in it, which from my experience they do! even with parking restrictions apply!

The section of road near me has no need for parking. There is a pub which has its own car park.

Yes I know, I was just giving my input in relation to my road. The road that you quoted probably will have a parking problem. There is also a bus stop blocking the cycle lane.
