Never done it before so juat to make sure I'm not missing a trick.

Its a folder so wheels aren't a problem. Is it as easy as lots of bubble wrap around frame and overall folded lump and then in a bike box with lots of parcel tape?

I'm thinking of sending it by royal mail fully tracked delivery but only out of ignorance of the alternatives

Who is the courier of choice for the eBay ists amongst us?

TIA

Paisley Freight has a pretty good website but they are only acting as agents for TNT who provide all the vehicles and drivers. Pack the bike in anticipation that it will get other stuff piled on it and it will get thrown off the truck, then instruct your buyer to check the carton carefully before allowing the driver to leave and if they have any doubt about the condition, to sign for it in "damaged" condition, otherwise you will have no recourse against the courier company.

TNT delivered a bike I sold with this damage and the buyer's wife signed for it in good condition, meaning I had a hell of a job getting the cost of repairs out of TNT. After a long battle I got about 50%.
