covid test today

@alicat shes finding everything , simple things like having a shower, going upstairs, the slightest exertion is leaving her breathless , the cough has almost gone , her smell and taste returning gradually, physically its going to take a while, the docs have referred her for further tests on her lungs, the whole thing , being in resus etc has affected her mentally, we will work through it together, she says thank you for asking about her.

It's the least that I can do, @roadrash. Mrs R has put herself at risk just doing her job so I salute her for being a key worker and wish her all the best for a speedy and complete recovery. Please keep us posted.

Best to your wife. I've had a few rounds of PEs in the last few years and know what they're like. I'm slowly getting over things but sometimes doesn't feel like it.

mrs roadrash just recieved a telephone call from a professor of medicine at oxford asking if she will take part in a series of post covid tests for a study being done by oxford ,manchester and glasgow hospitals. she still hasnt been out the house since coming home from hospital but has agreed to take part in the study.

@MartinQ im pretty much ok ,just a bit breathless when using stairs etc, mrs roadrash is on a very long road to recovery and has been told not to expect to get as well as she was beforehand, shes a fighter but its bloody hard to see her like this. mentally as well as physically, together we will fight through whatever comes her way., thank you for asking.
