I was on photographic rather than trumpet duties for tonight's concert, and this is the one I like at the moment... on the fairly slow shutter speed (most of them were around 1/15s) there were plenty where the players' movement made them unusable, but on this one, I like the way just the one player's head must have been still enough to get the focus amongst all the movement. It's the kind of randomness I like, especially when you get a lucky one.

Misty in the woods this morning. Also lots of horseflies lying in wait.
Focus stacked to get the closest ferns in focus. I also made an editing preset to get a similar look across the shots rather than editing them separately.
I used a wider angle lens than I normally do thinking that the summer canopy blocks most of any distracting highlights.

Yesterday evening, walking with some of my family; the fleeting appearance of some interesting light created a photographic opportunity, but I could only manage half a dozen attempts without getting left too far behind!

I suppose most of the creativity here comes from trying to find the best framing, and I'm far from convinced I've achieved this. But I hope this works:

The Ridge Hill television transmitter is visible on the horizon, left of centre, and I like the shaft of light extending almost horizontally above the stretch of river on the far left.

Yes, nice light. The ‘god rays’ on the right and the long shadows from the trees look good.
I wouldn’t take the creativity bit in the thread title too seriously.

I don't know much about the technicalities of cloud formation, but for whatever reason there seems to a development of parallel ridges, a bit like a corrugated roof, and the sun is penetrating along the lines of least resistance. The cloud lines extend quite a long way to the right, though how distant they are in relation to the Malvern Hills is difficult to assess:
