After precisely 0h:00m sleep last night I’ll give myself a gentle pat on the back for bothering. Although, having not done a single sunset session this summer, I’ll also give myself a kick up the @rse.
Anyways, I've found the RGB LED handy for some creative control for photographing mushrooms lately. Even at a low intensity setting of just 2%, it can effectively illuminate them, depending on the ambient light. For ease, I also picked up a mini tripod (8”) that can lay flat for low angle shots or to support the light panel.

The second one is so good it could be a painting. Though maybe not worth losing eight hours sleep for.

Thanks, I like the look too. Maybe I should try eating some of these shrooms for some better kip.

Didn't get any properly rainy photos as the OM might have been OK, but I'd have been drenched. Still, got some vaguely interesting light in between downpours.

Decided to try something different tonight and get some action shots of the hound. I set the camera up on a tripod with a remote trigger then fired away as I threw the ball for him. Managed a couple I like.

Apart from the difficulty of actually finding the minuscule mushrooms, the wind was causing the large trees to sway, which caused considerable movement towards the branch tips where the little uns were hiding.
Finished off with a Mapplethorpe special with a glistening head.
