Shame we couldn't finish them by stumps
Last year in the Aussie vs India test at Perth, the first 2 innings had really low scores. There is no way that 19 wickets should fall on the opening day of a test match if the pitch is up to scratch. It's a new pitch, but is a complete contrast to the WACA by all accounts.
It didn't look much like the pitch was playing a part in the wickets I saw, just some very good bowling. There were a few from bouners but they came from the sort of length you'd expect and I can't say I noticed huge amounts of movement.
I listened to this on the radio getting ready this morning. Aus were 2 down. Then it went out of my head.
Just saw the close of play score. WTAF???
