@ Valiant: Nice one!!!! I should have twigged and introduced myself. Loved the fancy dress - well done. How do you power the system, lights and strobes?

@Zimzum: This was the Hallowe'en ride. Hallowe'en is the 31st October, which is the day before 1st November - All Saints' Day in the Catholic calenday.

@ Smeggers: The rationale has been well-debated elsewhere, but the main point personally is to meet up and go for a nice relaxed ride. Politically the main point is to show that bikes are traffic too. Environmentally, the point is to show people what a cycle-friendly, car-free city might be like.

Front lights was the Dinotte 600L - Li-on Battery Pack
Rear light was the Dinotte Tail Light - 4x AA Battery Pack
The Amps, neons, glowire etc was powered by a gert big truck battery.

It ain't half a bitch to pull at 100kg.

hehe strictly speaking it acts much the same way as a spoiler on a £100,000 Ferrari.

LOL! I'm clearly not a very good recumbent rider - I don't have a beard or aerobelly, and I don't drink real ale. Oops!!!
