I put quince pears in apple crumbles. They give you a lovely fragrant, lemony note.

Also lovely poached in spiced sugar syrup, or turned into jelly and membrillo.

Can't eat 'em raw, but they're lush cooked. They go a lovely pink colour, too.

Same here for adding to apple crumbles. Mrs R had also poached and bottled loads of them last weekend. Really good with Greek yoghurt, cream or custard
