I’m having quotes from custom bike painters at around £600 at the moment
Seems a bit steep but it’s cheaper than a new bike...

They are all taking bookings for January/February time too, so must be popular

I had a fantastic paint job (2 colours faded in) done on our tandem.

Part of an overall upgrade, the paint job itself was £360.

It was done through Bicycles by Design in Coalbrookdale - I've no idea who they subcontract to, but I'm sure they'd let you know if you give them a ring.

I don’t know if they do carbon bikes but Mercian Cycles do a fantastic paint finish.
