Cycle etiquette?

I was wondering if there was any cyclist to cyclist"etiquette"
For example bikers nod at each other...hikers call each other nobby....
I will always stop if another cyclist is having a mechanical crisis at the road side but is there a generally accepted set of unwritten laws?
