Cycle hire (roadie) in Kent

I have a pal who would like to try a road bike for a Bromley to Brighton ride in a week or so. Anyone know of a place that will hire out a road bike on a day rate?

I know Action Bikes in Wimbledon have Trek demo/hire bikes for sale, not sure how it works though

Looks like you rent from Victoria (easy train ride back to Bromley South)
