We were talking about the Met criticising the superhighways the other day saying they were just a strip of blue paint but are there any rules about actual cycle lanes? On Heygate Street in London, there's a cycle lane with a solid white line to the right of that breaks at junctions then goes solid again with painted cycle signs all up it.
The reason I ask is because I was cycling up it this evening when a black transit was driving right in it, he then took a quick turn left then swung right round across my path, you can vaguely hear the cyclist behind me at 0.20 shouting at him (and see him at 0.23).
This would surely count as dangerous driving huh? I'm gonna Roadsafe it anyway even though the response from them the last few months has been a bit 'couldn't care less'...
