Nobody indicates any more, you'd think doing a uey would warrant it, but no, I'm just going to driver 180 degrees and hope people know what I'm doing. I heard instructors are teaching pupils there's no need to indicate if there's nobody around which is total trouser gravy, what's the point of having rules if they, oh I don't know. Makes me mad.

Because it's always due to a lack of understanding of English and nothing to do with the fact it's one of the most common typos on a keyboard.
I can't recall the last time outside of school I've made that mistake writing with a pen yet writing emails I always have to track back to make sure one hasn't slipped through.
Maybe you've never made that mistake because you type with two index fingers like a 5 year old would. See how easy it is to make obviously incorrect and stupid assumptions
