But it was still a none event, inconvenient to your line of travel, yes, inconsiderate, yes, dangerous, No!
Alan...
Nobody indicates any more, you'd think doing a uey would warrant it, but no, I'm just going to driver 180 degrees and hope people know what I'm doing. I heard instructors are teaching pupils there's no need to indicate if there's nobody around which is total trouser gravy, what's the point of having rules if they, oh I don't know. Makes me mad.
Another perspective might be, a driver should consider indicating if it is necessary to let others know what the driver intends to do. So, a good all round observation shows that there is no one to indicate to, and so consideration has been given and the need to indicate discounted.I heard instructors are teaching pupils there's no need to indicate if there's nobody around which is total trouser gravy, what's the point of having rules if they, oh I don't know.
If someone is a grown up who can use a computer yet doesn't know the difference between "your" and "you're" their views can be safely discounted.
It's the difference between knowing your sh1t and knowing you're sh1t.
I really cannot get too stressed about the WVM driving
No no no. They missed out looking into one of the mirrors. The mirror specifically designed to view areas like that next to the lorry.Sorry - I know that the Video is trying ot make a point and in doing so, may well be exagerating the point somewhat.
What it does show though is that there ARE blind spots in mirrors/trucks/lorries.
And WVM is more a generic term isn't it?![]()

You can see it when they pan to the right, it's at the top of the passenger side window and it looks down.
