Is art when the price of the thing he's painted on goes up, and vandalism if goes down? I'd be more than happy for Banksy to vandalise my house, would massively increase the value!

dunno but the painting that shredded itself (just after the hammer had fallen) on the Auction house wall was genius.

A few years back we queued for hours in the rain in Bristol to go to the Banksy exhibition. The kids loved it. But it mostly reminded me of the art a few of lads used to do in the sixth form. Though, I agree with the Capt. - I also like the House of Commons one. The shredding stunt was neat, too.

If I'm honest he'd actually have to build me a garage first, so it'd definitely be worth more than it is currently.

And the latest update is that the lynch mob has pulled into the lead. They want Banksy burned at the stake and simultaneously made to listen to Kerry Katona reading him her biography.

I like his stuff,at the end of the day how many graffiti artists can you name ? Im guessing the whole point of him is to get his message across and gain notoriety....it worked.
