I did see GG live in the 70's at the Rainbow, Finsbury Park. I must admit it was a great show.

The Sweet by a huge stretch for me.
Hearing the Sweet FA album for the first time back in the day totally blew me away (my dad bought it and played it all the time). It's a bone fide heavy metal classic that I still give a regular airing.
I was a bit too young for the glam rock of the 70s.
Hair metal in the 80s was more my scene.
I was/am much more of a Prog rock lover and the 70's were the pinnacle for many bands of that ilk.
