I detest cheese, but oddly enough I can enjoy a packet of Tayto cheese and onion with a nice pint of Guinness. I'd prefer smokey bacon, but needs must, most pubs only seem to sell cheese and onion.

In my working life, one of my (IT) Contract jobs was at a Company manufacturing Crisps, to my surprise, Cheese and Onion was their best seller.

I don't like Cheese and Onion Crisps, my preference being Plain Crisps, followed by Salt n Vinegar.

Not round here.

Every pub I have been in has a variety of crisps, usually at least 4-5 different flavours. Occasionally they may run out of some flavours.

Why are ready salted often called "plain" when theyre flavoured with salt, so aren't plain at all? The old salt and shake crisps are plain until the salt is added.

McCoys use the correct colourings.

I have been a big fan of Mackies crisps but they were not that easy to get hold off in England. However Mackies is still selling ice cream and chocolate but their crisps are now branded as Taylor’s who bought the brand.
I would be interested to know if anyone has tried them.
