I also own a bat'leth. A birthday present from my son last year (possibly from the same shop in York)
We should meet and do battle for the honour of our respective houses!

Julia, that's great!!:okay:

I have found out though, that I can't swing it in the basement rooms, & the ceilings are only about 6 foot:whistle:

Data is by far the best in TNG, Picard has introduced some great new characters though and some of those are rocketing up the scale.

cyberknight

As long as I breathe, I attack.
each to their own , if it makes you happy and its not illegal etc go for it
down the road bloke has 3 modded bmw`s, im like ok not my thing but hey go for it as long as you don't drive like a ninny

I should have a photo somewhere of me cosplaying as Dr McCoy, but can I find it?

It's like looking for par'mach in all the wrong places...
Even in The Big Bang Theory', none of the 4 dressed as McCoy
Sheldon had to be Data, as the others often refer to him being so life-like that they forget he's not a real-boy:wacko:
Yes, I know that's a Pinocchio reference, but Data wanted to be human too?

The reason I cosplayed as Dr McCoy was this...

My decorated pen at the Supreme about five years ago. Really enjoyed putting that together.

Everyone was expecting me to do a Babylon 5 theme...

I can't remember (due to my advanced age?) writing that I have one item of memorabilia, even if it is a replica
I'd looked at them, most times we were in York, but knew that I'd get into trouble, if I bought myself one
However, SWMBO & daughter bought me one for my 55th birthday
it's 44" long (110cm) from 'point to point'
It's not a razor-edge, but certainly sharp enough to do yourself some damage with!!!

It hangs in the ‘TV room’/‘snug’, in the basement

I go along with Spock
if 20 stone of blubber can stretch its way into a f**tballist jumper, & shout at the TV set, what's wrong with the below?

As SG1's Teal'c would say...Indeed!. It amazes me that footy fans paint their faces, dress up, saddle their unfortunate first-born sons with the entire 1966 England team's first names....and yet... I go to a Star Trek event and I'm a nerd????.
