I was only one and a half, so don't remember it, although my Dad assures me I watched it on the box.

It could be a hoax, but if it is then who has been up there and deposited the Apollo remains and astronauts footprints on the surface? Even our finest robots couldn't do that for us today.

Not sure what time the landing was but I'm sure NA clambered out in the early hours.

Edit: quick Google gives landing time as 20.17 and NA takes small step at 02.56 GMT which was what I stayed up to watch.

I too was kept up to watch it as a 7yr old, my Father was always a one for 'historic events' and was actually one of the people who transmitted the news of Kennedys assassination around the globe when he was a Radio Operator in the RAF stationed on Gan at the time.



He only left the RAF cos I'd appeared.

Moon hoax truthers get my goat - the so-called conspiracy doesn't stand up to basic scrunity and I have little tolerance for people who cannot be bothered to do the minimum level of research about a subject before opining on it.
