Cycling after Lumbar Fusion

I'm waiting for L5/S1 fusion (ALIF) - anyone had this surgery and got back to cycling?

If so, how long before you were able to ride again?

(Mainly road/touring, occasional MTB and the odd TT).

Not certain this is relevant but I have had T12/L1 fusion and have no problems cycling. Racing, MTB, endurance rides. All good.

Thanks, that's good to hear. I'm guessing it may be more problematic at L5/S1?
