I had a garmin edge, cant remember which one but it was pretty basic. Maybe the 200.
I could download routes on to it but the navigation was pretty poor.

Are there any decent ones for around £100?

And what should i be looking for it to do other than have decent navigation?

The lezyne super gps might be what you're looking for. Currently £99.99 on Wiggle, can connect to a smart phone via blue tooth, where you can either use a pre-made route or have it navigate on the go. I have the micro gps which is a bit smaller

For £100 you are not going to get a great mapping navigation unit, especially one with Bluetooth. You are going to need to spend more then that.

You could always use your phone as there are plenty of navigation apps out there. If you are planning a long days ride you can also charge it on the go.

The navigation on the Garmin Edge 200 is just a simple breadcrumb trail. It takes a little getting used to but does work really well

I’ve got a good one from Amazon

Why not try one that you already have?
As said, you won’t find a good Cycling gps new for £100

Could look at a used Garmin 810 as potential option around your budget. Eg

Wahoo Bolt is £200, may see a little discount around Easter

There are plenty of (good cheap) on the go battery chargers out there.
Mine is a small lipstick sized charger of which I charge either my phone or one of my Garmins on the go.
