I have a very pricey pair of Oakleys but came across some Kuota ones in my LBS which are almost as good, plus they have 5 sets of lenses. Simply amazing and I would strongly recommend them

This is them http://www.kuota.it/object.php?IDMerch=15

£24 http://www.jejamescycles.co.uk/kuota-multi-lens-item5165.html
may be cheaper elsewhere.

I like the look of these

these look exactly like the aldi jobs. And yeah, I have big hands, so maybe I was heavy handed!

I've got the Aldi ones too. My only gripe is they fog up whenever you stop.

Might give the Bolle ones a go as they say they're anti-fog.

+1 for Bolle, Mrs Gere swears by them too. A year old and not a scratch.

Cycling glasses (unless you need prescription lenses) have to fulfill two purposes:
- keep wind and anything airborne (dust, stones, insects, ...) from your eyes
- filter the light, either for brightness or colour

Colour is a matter of your choice and aesthetics/fashion. If you have glasses that reduce brightness, you should also check that they filter out UV.

Personally, after riding for a long time with technical protection glasses (from a manufacturer that also made cycling glasses - in the same design, only difference was that the protection glasses were about 1/4 the price of the cycling glasses...), I switched to polarized cycling glasses (from Uvex) and I'm happy with them.

Try these, I bought them earlier this year and they are superb sturdy wraparound glasses which stay were they are supposed to with 3 interchangable lenses in clear, yellow and mirrored. The yellow lenses are brill at lighting the world up in low light. The frames come in white or black (I chose the black). Rogelli also do a good line in cycle clothing, I have a cycle jersey and fingerless gloves in their range at reasonable prices
