Hi, I have a week holiday at the end of March and looking for possible options to combine cycling with a relaxing holiday in a not so cold country. A friend suggested going to Majorca. I have read forum posts here and many other information on the web. Those information are mainly for true cyclists. I do not consider myself as one of them. I have always enjoyed easy cycling, gone on a week tour to Holland last year (with invaluable info from forums here) and a proud owner of Triban 3. So you get the picture.
So I am looking for easy relaxing rides avoiding too many hills etc. I learned that central, south and east of Majorca provides such a terrain but there is very little information on routes etc. What I would like to do, as I did in Holland, is to rent a bike close to airport, ride from hotel to hotel, about 60Km a day, carry my small ruck sack with me, just like I go to work in my Triban 3. I have a small budget (about £500) so can not spend crazy amount for a guided tour. Am I just crazy or is it something that I can do? I did exactly this in Holland and had a great time.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
