@jonny jeez complaining about anti-male sexism in the media.Who and why?
(Maybe I should've put some sort of smiley face in. I get the point he's making, and I'm kind of joking really)

Buy why? Nobody would randomly shout at a jogger - I think?Getting shouted at by idiots is all part of cycling.
Ah, never knew that! They do, my mates runs a lot gets shouted at by idiots.
Do something different to a lot of people, get shouted at it's the British way.
i think maybe you should have too.@jonny jeez complaining about anti-male sexism in the media.

Can you imagine if just 20% of the adverts on telly were re written with role reversal.
Men are nearly always portrayed on telly ads as hapless, clueless mankids incapable of shopping, washing, ironing or even looking after their own children.
It seems like a right "larf" but I find it increasingly frustrating.
Perhaps I am actually getting old. Mrs g says its because the ads are aimed at the person in the household who controls the family purse...which is an insult in itself really.
I've just re- read this and I sound about 80.
Sigh

But that's just a lazy approach.Yes. When are men going to catch a break?
Thank you .
I'm just trying to reduce a complex debate to a series of pithy statements.Thank you .
I do take the point though, see above.
But that's just a lazy approach.
And this next bit isn't aimed at you....
We shall never move forward on equality of many issues unless we accept that crap happened in the past and move on...two wrongs don't make a right and tipping the balance too far to gain some form of retribution never works.
[...]
In reality @winjim is spot on, on many issues, many of us speak from a position of privilege...but something has to balance and where I may 'win' as a male, I may lose on other issues in the pursuit of that same balance.
Equality is the objective.
But that's just a lazy approach.
