Strictly-speaking, he's correct. But he sounds like a bit of a busy-body to raise it with you. I see no problem with people riding slowly and considerately on a quiet path. The only time I get annoyed is when I see someone riding along at pace showing no consideration to peds.

I 100% agree, as I said I was in 3rd gear of 27 so was hardly breaking the land speed record. I would also put my house on never being stopped by a police officer if they saw you.

I got spoken to, by a PCSO, for footway riding last week.

The only person on the footway within 50m of me, in either direction, was the PCSO. I played the Boateng card. She huffed and puffed and i was saved by her talking broach.
