Lovely sunny commute in soft evening light tonight, a couple of entries:

Fair chance of seeing egrets in the next week, but not sure how Autumnal South of France will be, nor how much chance I'll have to get out on a bike

I was surprised how many egrets we saw canoeing down the Wye at the start of August.

I did indeed see a number of egrets, and I did manage to get out on a bike (from the boat), but it wasn't autumnal enough in Provence to be useful for pictures in this thread.
