Who knows in these strange times! 🌸

They symbolise the blood shed in conflict & are worn in remembrance of that loss. The idea initially to remind politicians, generals, and other warmongers of war's cost in blood to the populace of the countries they allegedly are sworn to protect. Hopefully the result is to encourage said power brokers to seek peaceful solutions not violent ones. The original concept has subsequently been subverted to a significant extent. In it's purest form the poppy can be seen as a symbolic call for Peace.
