I saw that and my first thought was that Wellington is a lot more than 12 miles from Shrewsbury, then realised it is a different Wellington than the one we drove past on the way home from Shrewsbury this afternoon, which is off the A49 fairly close to Hereford.

Wonderful church there - very rare dedication to St Lucia. One of the half timbered buildings (possibly that one) has the 2cnd oldest standing crucks (c1269 AD) in Europe.

I've learned something new.

And I thought, gosh that cannot be the Wellington close to me in Somerset unless there's another Shrewsbury I didn't know about down the road.
