Can I ask which one?

Mine is this:

A sugino I believe. And nice minimal styling with no pathetic bling branding attempts to impress.

All is fine so far though mine does have one of the chainwheel bolts behind the crank arm - have yet to discover if this presents any problems.
I got this one...

I wanted to go even smaller at 22/32/44. My old one is 28/38/48, and I can't remember when I last used the big ring - but I can remember painfully when the 28 wasn't low enough with my old-style 6-speed 14-28 freewheel. With four bolts there's no crank arm issue. And yes, I much prefer the understated no-bling look.

May get one of those in future - to clarify, my 48T one is used on a build which isn't used for heavy loaded use. My near future build of an identical frame will be for more traditional touring and will have a 44T top. Which I like. I find a 42T top a bit low, even fully loaded.

Finally bought a serious rockville MTB on a french site working with bikester, a rear rack and a u lock from tredz and muddyfox panier at sportsdirect.
BTW the price gap between the UK and France is so huge on accesories and with the pound going down...
