I don't see anyone moaning about it; just making an observation. The observation being that if they weren't so clueless they would be able to enjoy the bike as it was intended. I would rather ride my sweetly tuned 4 year old Tiagra shod Tricross than some £4k bling machine that doesn't change gear smoothly, just because a barrel adjuster needs to take up some slack in a cable!
Your computer may break, but it isn't going to leave you stranded 50 miles from home.I am sitting here using a computer, does not mean I know how to fix it should it go wrong. Also I see no reason why people should not buy an expensive bike if that is their choice, it has nothing to do with the rest of us.
Sounds lik moaning for the sake of it too me.
Yebbut did you wave back. Several of them waved at me from across the street and I had no idea who they were, each one a pea in a pod, each identical.
...
Careful tho'. I once pushed a " clone " off his bike cos he was effin and blinding at me. I got charged with making an obscene clone fall.Live and let live I say, unless you're in full Sky kit in which case you're obviously a johnny-come-lately clueless nobber who should be given a good hard kicking at the first opportunity.
I would have done the same, FWIW. Then again, I would be expecting someone in the team Skoda to roll up alongside and fix it for them. What I would do in that situation is offer to adjust it for them, after all as somebody said earlier it only takes 20 seconds, but there again in real life I am that sort of nice helpful guy.

Because we now find ourselves inside the pack goddamit!I'm a bit of a pedal and let pedal kind of person but what I haven't fully grasped is why a long-time cyclist should be too worried about others: after all, you'll be pretty well used to being outside the pack by now.
