I will be helping at the final stage of "the tour of Britain" in September and need to be in Guildford for about 9.30ish. I want to take my bike but realize that it may not be practical to cycle all the way there and back in the time I will have (from Rye, East Sussex). Can anyone think of a route I could ride in about four hours that is simple, as I will not have chance to do a trial ride (I average between 20 and 25 mph). Will probably get train part way home as I have work the next day, Boooo.! Help.
