Hi to all. I've been suffering with the dreaded man flu for the last few days and I was determined to get a few miles today despite still feeling rough.I managed to cover 25 miles at an average of 15.5 mph , and oh boy did I feel it :-(. I drunk loads of energy drink on my ride to keep my energy levels up but my legs felt like lead weighs all the way round my trip. I must admit I feel a whole lot better for it now though. I think I sweated the flu out of me and my sinuses are clear again. So if you've got man flu ,my remedy is get on your bike fellow cyclists and sweat it of your body lol.
All the best

You know 'man flu' isn't an actual thing, don't you?

Excellent effort there.

However, believe me if you had full on flu, you would not be able to drive 25 miles let alone ride it.

Hope your cold gets better.

Be very careful exercising with anything bit a light cold. You can cause yourself all kinds of problems especially as you get older.

If you had real man flu they would be reading you last rites now

Brilliant YouTube clips. Thank you both for sharing those clips. I can seriously relate to them though. On Thursday I really thought it was touch and go when I started sneezing. :-)

Both clips were magic. I've just showed them both to my wife to help explain why mine just flares up every time she asks me to take out the bins.
