I came off today too... in the exact same spot!
That was my second off... the first one was 2 mins earlier on Dusthouse Lane.
After that I promptly turned around and went home again!
I wasn't so lucky though... half way home the rear hanger snapped clean so ended up walking and rolling the last few miles in the sunshine.
Apart from that a few bruises on the legs so could have been worse.

Try applying butter to the back of your iphone to ensure that it always lands that side down.Whoops...
Oh well, 5250 miles in 15 months and first 'off'
Took the long way home via the lanes - bad idea - hit ice here - luckily only going about 12mph - Front wheel slid out from under me, landed on knee and elbow - had a lovely slide on the ice whilst trying to hold bike off the ground and watched phone slide along next to me.
No real damage to me or bike, apart from slighlty sore elbow and knee, skid marks on coat and knackered bar tape (which I was going to replace any time now anyway) small chip out the front of phone (third iphone i've dropped and the third time it's been the front and not the back damaged - like dropping toast!!)
Luckily no one around to see ;-)
Be careful out there...
