Cyclist has freak accident

I knew a guy back in the Walkman days was riding with his connected to his side, had an accident and the Walkman badly bruised his kidney. Or the guy that had a pump in his jersey pocket had an accident and then required fusion surgery because the pump badly damaged a disk. I also knew of a guy that was wearing a cross around his neck had an accident and the cross penetrated his neck just missing the main artery by a mm, left an ugly scar on his neck.

Certainly worth bearing in mind when deciding what to wear/carry on a ride.

Right, so a women went up to a male colleague who cyclies and regaled him with fictional stories about male genital mutilation in a cycle accident.

Reverse the genders in that scenario, and it's likely that HR would get involved*.

Yeah, pretty horrific. Part of the training that I deliver at work cover the distinct possibility of de-gloving the crown jewels should a fall occur whilst wearing an ill fitting body harness. Photos are included.

I hate work at height training . still do the 2 finger check every time i wear a harness.

SNN is a fake news website I see a lot of the stories that they post on Facebook as I live near their catchment area the best one was about a mum who had taken her child to a kids party dressed in a cow onesie the Sun newspaper ran the story online without checking it out properly and it was FAKE
