A car overtakes too closely. Do you:

a) Shout "Oi!" and make a pushing-out gesture with your hand
b) Log the reg plate and report the driver
c) Tuck in behind and use the slipstream to slingshot past him, thus scooping a hard-earned KOM?

The quiz is too inaccurate to be anything other than laugh, hope its author knows the law really and move on...

Where, why and what the heck does that mean?

It is being "trialled" in Glamorgan

It means that although the SatNAv may send you that way it is unsuitable for HGVs

Hampshire uses this:

HGV drivers do not follow sat Nav.

follows the rules as set out in the traffic signs manual.

no 1 most definitely doesn't though. they have combined health and safety signage (prohibition) with road traffic signage where the diagonal bar means the prohibition shown no longer applies - something local authorities fail to install at the end of the prohibition. . there should not be words underneath to tell you what to do but there can be to clarify operation hours etc.

sometimes supplemented underneath with No Cycling . there is a short part of the Thames path at st Georges wharf that has these signs up . I cheerfully obey the sign and carry on riding.
