I was thrown by the cycling on the pavement questions, since they failed to take into account the shared use signs loved by councils everywhere, I think this question is more about semantics rather than what people think a pavement is.

That's the only that got me, too. 87.5%

87.5% - got the wrong answer to the passenger carrying one.

OP doesn't surprise me. I used to often go to a pub quiz evening. There was always a roads round that included safety and rules. The 3 cyclists who went could nearly always answer those questions whereas the rest of the crowd often couldn't. (Not so good on which roads went where though)

I got 7/8 only because they didn't give the correct answer as an option in Question 7: riding on the pavement. And how do they know cyclists fare better than drivers? There's no question asking you to identify with one or the other. Are they assuming that cyclists don't have driving licences?

There was a "do you cycle" question in the preamble.

Agree with you & @Nigelnaturist that the wording of the questions was a bit iffy. I answered what I thought would get me a point, not what I thought was actually right for the pavement one, and the passenger one took a bit of a process of elimination to identify the right one.

One wrong (ASL question)
Two wrong for Mrs.Pm, ASL + alcohol, I've educated her now. She also got an answer from my daughter on the lighting one, buts claims she knew anyway.

87.5% got the last one about passengers wrong. I guess the second person on a tandem isn't a passenger after all, although they always seem to be when I have ridden one.

Haven't bothered. The only survey that's of interest to me is whether or not cyclists make safer car drivers.
Personal experience suggests they might, but I have no evidence to back this up, other than the fact that, since taking up cycling, I seem to be slightly more aware and attentive when behind the wheel of a car, and more understanding of the needs of other road users. But, hey ho, I have no way of verifying the veracity of this observation!! Other than the fact that I haven't hit anything for a number of years.
