Going there in June and will be hiring a bike for a few days/half days. As Mrs Dave doesn't ride now I will be limited time-wise so I thought 1 full day & 2 half days. TBH it may be just too hot for full days.
I've been in touch with a local bike shop and they rent hard tails by the half day but for some reason road bike are only for full days.
Just wondering what others think about
a) cycling that area in general
b) cycling full days in Portugal in the June heat.
