Nearly everyone reads the daily mail even thought most will not admit it including me. Here is the likely reasons why

• Many work places carry the high end newspapers anyway.
• The World would have moved by the time you finished reading the editorials, columns, Op-eds
• Daily mail has key bullets summary
• People can't wait for one of the Kardashians to be hit by a bus - both male and female readers included
• Only pensioners, retirees etc have the time to read a proper newpaper. If they read the Daily Mail cover to cover they would still need something else to occupy the other 23.45 hrs in a day.

That's true too. Two of his papers got cancelled this year because the people died. His biggest section of papers is in retirement flats.

The future of paper rounds are under threat and it seems not many kids want to do it now. He does four rounds because others have packed it in and they can't get anyone else to do it.

Sons had to take the unpopular Saturday morning round! He's hoping one of the weekday afternoon boys will resign soon as he likes to do Park Run on Saturday morning and he can't get there in time with the Saturday round,

Mrs Ian's uncle who is 82 does a morning paper round. Says its good exercise and keeps him active.

My son's just finished his first ever paper round. He showed me his delivery list,

I'm quite alarmed by how many of my neighbours have the Daily Mail delivered. Only one Daily Star.

My ex-FIL used to get, only on a Sunday, the s.times, telegraph, guardian and news of the world. He used to like to compare them all and thoroughly enjoyed reading the 'screws' ... he used to laugh himself hoarse.

yeah same, Saturday and Sunday, big rounds, two either side if the biggest hill in the area but… .. they pay more. He often passes roadies on a Sunday toiling up the hill as he goes past with two panniers of Sunday papers. I think the wknds suit him, though his social life is starting to get in the way.
