I've had it too... its very annoying for a few days ... as suddenly you want to buy everything and you want to put it on the card.
But even afterwards its annoying.... we had various things that came off the card... and we would get a message saying a yearly direct debit had failed. And the bank don't have a list of the direct debits to transfer off that card and onto the new card.

It is a real pisser when this happens. Mine got done to the tune of £902.00 to Tesco Direct a few months back. As soon as i reported it the bank stopped the card and did a few checks, there was also a few testers of £1.20 going through as the same time. I got my money refunded within a week though.
