as out doing a Photo Shoot for my article in Cycling Active this morning, when a falling branch missed my head by about 2CM

I wasn't wearing a helmet, if I had of , then it would have caught my helmet, maybe giving me concussion and THAT is why helmets are BAD for you........

Or maybe people who are unintelligent enough not to wear a helmet are also unintelligent enough to stand under broken branches. Intelligent people who wear helmets would have stood somewhere else

a lad in our town went out just before christmas without a helmet and had a very slow speed fall off his bike and banged his head and then spent 2 weeks in hospital and now he is out has brain damage and his personality has changed aswell.

Its up to the person I personally would not go out without one. I have two a bright coloured one I wear in winter and a somber coloured one for summer. I love my head its been with me as long as I can remember.
