Dark Side Of The Moon

As a point of order, all parts of the moon's surface are exposed to sunlight for an equal amount of time, excepting tall hills or deep craters. There is no "dark side". The entire premise for the album is therefore flawed, and therefore the album is drivel.

You are truly wise beyond your years.

In a similar vein, I couldn't get into the album Touch Me by Gary Glitter in 1973. Time proved me right on that one.

Lost count of how many copies of DSOTM I've bought over the years, starting with vinyl, then cassette, lastly CD..
Queen's "A Night at the Opera" has been bought a few times over as well, in different formats.

Good album - loved it when in my youth.

I listen to it now once in a Blue Dark Side of the Moon.

In truth I find it a little depressing to listen to these days. Not sure why either.

I think Dark Side of the Moon is a great album.

But I prefer Wish You Were Here (and no, young Ed, it's not the ITV holiday program).

I didn't vote as there wasn't a "It's ok" category.My horrible brother bought the LP when it came out in 1973,i still have it here. Can anyone remember the two posters that came with it? One was a pyramid the other i can't remember what it was.

I bought the record, back when CDs didn't exist, and then bought the CD later on. A great album .

In the US, was top of the album chart for one week. But remained on the album charts for 741 weeks, or more than 14 years.
Fantastic album, in every sense of the word.
